Text: Riehl, Loie loving wife, mother, grand- mother, friend and volunteer passed away on January 26, 2017. She is the beloved wife of John Riehl for 50 years; cherished mother and mother-in-law of Loie Beth (Steve) Couch, Jennifer (Jonathan) Deutsch and Johner (Christina) Riehl; loving grandmother of Alex, Nick and Alena Ruhl, Riley, Ethan and Tyler Deutsch and Quinner, Whitaker and Zyler Riehl. Loie is a dear cousin, teacher and friend to so many. Loie was a retired English teacher and docent at the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center. She was known for her smile and kind heart and enjoyed reading, water aerobics and lunch bunches. Most of all, Loie enjoyed spending time with her family. Services: Memorial service Tuesday, January 31st at 2PM at Westwood Country Club, followed by a celebration of Loie's life from 3 to 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, Loie asked that donations be made to the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center (www.hmlc.org), 12 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146, or to the charity of your choice .
