Lived near Fort Square, Quincy, north of the brook probably near School & Fort Sts., was in King Philip's War 1675 (Reg. Vol.43).
He was elected Town Clerk 1673 and in March of that year was appointed by the town to lay out the 6000 acre grant given by the General Court to the town of Braintree. He deposed Oct.31,1682 a.52, Court Rec.# 2126.
He was granted land in Billerica in 1659, resided there for a time until 1665. He was selectman in 1683.

To son Peter £20 at wife's decease & the east end of my dwelling house which he liveth in & the land it stands on & the gravelly or sandy bottom before it down to the fresh meadow. To son Samuel £20 at wife's decease. To son Benjamin £20 same. To son Joseph £40 same. To dau. Hannah Adams £5 same. To dau. Mary Webb £20 same. To dau. Abigail Webb £20, same.
