died Oct.17,or 18,1833 at Staustead, Canada, (Rev. War Pension data)(W.14550) or Oct.1,1834 at Randolph according to another story in same pension data.
He was a Revolutionary soldier from Stoughton. From Rev. War pension data of his widow it seems he removed to Bradford or Newbury, Orange, Vt. after the war, but his wife objected to the frontier life and returned to Randolph with her children, but he went to Canada. He also lived in Maine for a time and enlisted there from Augusta or Winthrop, usually spent his winters in Randolph or Stoughton.

Perhaps other children..
