Henry Concert & wife to Barnat Shartill
This indenture made this 23rd day of April 1810 by and between Henry Concert of Potters Towns hip Centre County and state of Pennsylvania and Eva Lisabeth his wife of the one part and Bar nat Shartill of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Concert and Eva Lisabeth his w ife for and in consideration of the sum of thirty pound lawfull money of the United States t o them in hand paid by the said Barnart Shartill the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowled ge themselves there with fully satisfied and the said Barnat Shartill his heirs executors an d administrators and assigns do forever and discharge have granted bargained sold delivered r eleased and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell deliver release and confi rm unto the said Barnat Shartill his heirs and assigns a certain tract of parcel of land in P otters Township aforesaid beginning at a post north seventy eight degrees east seventy eigh t perches to a white oak thence by land of James Potter, esq. South thirty two degrees east t hirty three perches to a post thence by land of John Livingston south seventy eight degrees w est sixty eight perches to a spruce north forty five degrees west thirty seven perches to th e place of beginning containing fifteen acres and the usual allowance of six percent for road s it being part of a certain tract of land surveyed to John Reed in pursuance of a warrant de ed the 3rd day of March 1796 and to whom a patent issued for the same dated the 10th day of M arch 1802 as in and by the said Warrant and Patent recourse thereto being hat will more full y and at large appear and John Reed and Margaret his wife conveyed part of the said tract o f land unto John Livingston by deed dated the 2 of August 1806 and John Livingston and Margar et his wife dot by deed dated 11th day of June 1808 conveyed the above tract to Henry Concer t and Henry Concert and Eve Lisabeth his wife conveyed the above tract to Barnat Shartill Tog ether with all and singular the buildings improvements ways woods waters and water courses ri ght liberties privileges as herditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wis e appertaining and the reversions remainders rents ___ and profits thereof and all the estat e right title interest property claim and demand of him the said Henry Concert and Eva Lisabe th his wife eighter at law or in equity of in to or out of the above ____ _____ and tract o f land or any part thereof. To have and to hold the said tract of land above mentioned with t he appurtenances unto the said Barnat Shartill to and for the only proper use and behoof of h im the said Barnat Shartill his heirs and assigns forever and the said Henry and Eva Lisabet h his wife for themselves their heirs executors administrators doth convenant grant and agre e to and with the said Barnet Shartill that he the said Henry Concert and Eva Lisabeth the ab ove mentioned tract of land unto the said Barnat Shartill his heirs and assigns against him t he said Henry Concert and Eva Lizabeth his wife and their heirs and against all and every oth er person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by through unto him them or an y of them or either of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these persons. In T estimony whereof the Henry Concert and Eva Lisabeth his wife have hereunto set their hands an d seals the day and year first above writing.

Centre County, Henry Concert and Eve Elizabeth his wife came personally before William Ker r one of the justices of the peace in and for the said county of Centre and acknowledge the f oregoing indenture to be their act and deed and desire that the same might be received as suc h, the said Eva Elizabeth being of full age and by me being examined separate and apart fro m her said husband did voluntarily thereunto consent without any coercion or restraint from h er said husband the contents thereof being by me made known to her. In witness whereof I hav e hereunto set my hand and seal the 23rd day of April 1810.
