Biography
John Boradell was born about 1585.
John was a gentleman of high social position and an earnest supporter of the parliamentarian cause in England. He was from Cork, but was residing with his family in England during the wars there.[1]

Tradition states that George Denison served in Cromwell's Army, was wounded, and was nursed at the home of John Borodell, a leather merchant of Cork, and married his daughter Ann as his second wife.
