Biography
Gershom PALMER[1][2] was born 16 June 1644, at Rehoboth, Massachusetts[3]. He was the sixth child of Walter Palmer with his second wife Rebecca Short, and was their first child of his birth family to be born outside of Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony. At the time he was born, his birth family had moved away from the Boston area to Rehoboth; subsequently they continued on to Stonington, Connecticut, where they settled.
Gershom Palmer married (1st) 28 Nov 1667 at Stonington, New London, Connecticut [4], Ann Denison [Minor Diary 199]; they had 10 children during the timespan through July 1694, at which time Ann died.
He married (2nd) 11 November 1707 at Stonington, Elizabeth (Peck) Mason, widow of Samuel Mason (son of JOHN MASON) [Stonington Hist 461 (which promises but does not deliver a copy of the marriage jointure)]. [5]
He served in King Philip's War in 1675-1676 and received a parcel of land in Voluntown, Conn., for his service. He took the freeman's oath in 1666 and his name appears on the list of freemen of Stonington dated 5 Oct. 1669. Gershom served as selectman in Stonington in 1691, 1700, 1701, and 1704 and in 1706 was a deputy to the General Assembly of Connecticut. [6]
Gershom Palmer died 27 September 1718 at Stonington, New London County, Connecticut.

Biography
Ann DENISON[1][2][3][4] was the third child of George Denison and his second wife Ann Borodell. Her birth place is not certain, however the evidence brought forth to date indicates that she was christened on 20 May 1649 at Roxbury, Massachusetts.[5][6] Perhaps relevant to this subject is that her birth family migrated from Roxbury to New London, Connecticut, in 1651, thence to Stonington, Connecticut, in 1654.
Ann Denison married 28 November 1667 at Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, Gershom Palmer. They had 10 children during the ensuing timeframe through July 1, 1694:
Mercy Palmer, b. about 1668; married John Breed
Gershom Palmer, baptized 9 Sep 1677; married Hannah Spencer
Ichabod Palmer, baptized 9 Sep 1677; married Hannah Palmer (daughter of Frances Prentice & Joseph Palmer)
William Palmer, baptized 25 Apr 1678; married Grace Miner
George Palmer, baptized 29 May 1681; married Hannah Palmer (daughter of Hannah Lord Stanton & Nehemiah Palmer)
Ann Palmer, baptized 20 May 1683; married Benjamin Hewitt
Walter Palmer, baptized 7 Jun 1685; married Grace Vose; d. 11 Feb 1727
Elihu Palmer, baptized 6 May 1688; died young
Mary Palmer, baptized 8 Jun 1690; married Joseph Palmer; d. 13 Jan 1777
Rebecca Palmer, baptized 1 Jul 1694; married Benjamin Palmer; d. 22 Mar 1726
All evidence brought forth to date indicates that this Ann (Denison) Palmer died in 1694 at Stonington, New London County, Connecticut [7]. In view of the birth date of her last child, it is plausible that Ann died during or soon after that event. Her grave is located in Wequetequock Burial Ground, northeast of Stonington, Connecticut, at the junction of Palmer Neck Road with Greenhaven Road, just 200 feet from the Boston Post Road (Route 1).
Note that a certain grave "finding" service has posted a different death date for this Ann (Denison) Palmer: Find A Grave: Memorial #23292350. Unless and until a different death date can be brought forth with evidence, 1694 should prevail.
