He is in 1850 census, a stone cutter on Liberty St., south side, north of Peach St. on the old road. New road cuts S.E. of the house which still stands (1955). New road built about 1952 cuts off a bend in the old road. "A. White" on 1832 map, A. Wild on 1856 map.

To wife Sylvia all estate for herself and the children while she remains a widow and she executrix. Children Elizabeth, Benjamin, Joseph, Amasa Thayer, William A, Sylvia. Ann Williams, Charles Douglas and Elizabeth Trask, the last to be regarded as my child.

Estate was insolvent.
