Peletiah Stevens, son of Nicholas was born in Dighton Mar.25,1742, came to Braintree (now Randolph) between Nov.1758 and Apr.1759. He was a great grandson of Richard Stevens who was in Taunton in 1660. Peletiah Stevens was in a company that marched from Taunton in Aug.1757 for the relief of Fort William Henry, but getting only as far as Wrentham when news was received of it's surrender and then returned to Taunton where he was an apprentice of Cornelius White of that place, but the following year was in the Lake George expedition and his service was credited to Taunton. But in April 1759 he came to Braintree and was apprenticed to Jonathan Wales, and he served from April to Nov.1759 in the Halifax expedition, and his service was credited to Braintree, a.17 (Reg. Vol.15)(called Meletiah Stevens)

No record of death has been found for him. She was a widow in Nov.1773 when she mortgaged 6 1/4 acres and buildings to Joshua Howard Jr.

N.P.17092, 1826: Administration on Hannah Snow given to Benjamin Richards of Randolph because John Stevens of Charlestown said it was inconvenient for him to serve.
Real estate sold to pay debts. N.D.103-157 sold to Jedediah Snow.
Distribution to Peletiah & John Stevens & Rhoda Jones.

The mother, Elizabeth (-) (Stream) Otis mentions her son in law Lt. John Holbrook in her will dated 1672, filed 1676. She had married about 1655, as 2nd wife John Otis Sr. of Hingham who died in 1657
