They returned to Braintree with her father's family during King Philip's War and he died here.
The oldest child is not on record, but the administration of the estate shows two children were born before his death and one afterwards. Perhaps Ledia Stevens who married Oliver Coller July 13,1705 at Mendon was the eldest child.

12-23, Dec.11,1677: Administration on Joseph Stevens of Braintree to Sarah his relict who produced an inventory which being very inconsiderable and two small children & the woman "bigg" of a third to be brought up out of the same the magistrate required no security but took her own word to be accountable for it to the court when lawfully called thereunto. "Vide inventory upon the file 1677" (sic) No inventory in S.P. but it is in Mass. Archives 16-340 as follows:
