Petition to settle estate of Thais Bayley, dated 26 Mar. 1859, shows her heirs to be Eliza Ann Shaw, wife of Oliver B., Nathaniel W. Bayley, George Bayley, Maria A T;-.11 James Tlavley and ,Sally Webster, wife of David G. Webster. (Norfolk Probate, 345.)

John Bagley was a soldier at Lake George 1756 & at Braintree 1759 (Register Vol.15). Also, John Bagley, probably he was one of the 1745 expedition to Louisburg (Register 59,-193). Dr. Alden says John & wife Esther sold 3 1/2 acres near the present R.R. station in Holbrook to Nathaniel Payne Dec.6,1768, and is said to have lived in a house afterwards occupied by Samuel Woods, south of the residence of Samuel Payne, grandson of Nathaniel Payne.

Elisha, son of John Bayley bapt. Jul.22,1764 at So. Parish (Town copy of now missing church records, but Dr. Alden calls this child Elizabeth.

He may also have had a son Samuel who m. int. Nov.6,1770 Naomi Curtis of Stoughton, born Mar.1,1746/7, dau. of Capt. Edward & Hannah (Hayward) Curtis. They removed to Williamsburg about 1770, afterwards to Brookfield, Orange, Vt

His homestead 1703-13 was what is now St. Mary's Cemetery, Randolph. He mortgaged it in 1716 and did not recover it.
Samuel Bagley was a mason as given in a deed in 1703 when he removed to now Randolph.

He made his will 9 Nov. 1836, and it was proved 29 Apr. 1839. In it he mentions his wife Elizabeth, and provides that Nabby Blanchard shall live with her as long as she remains unmarried. He also refers to his grandsons John and George H. Payson under 21. The residue he gives to his son Samuel P. and to his daughter Mary T. Bayley, to be equally divided between them. (Norfolk Probate Records, 71: 327.)
