- a mariner, of Boston, m. Elizabeth - who m. 2nd Samuel Andrews (Andrus or Andros) of Boston, Weymouth, Braintree, Milton & Canton.
He was on a voyage and overdue when his father made his will 2 Oct. 1688. The judge of Probate sent a notice to James Ludden of Weymouth to appear if he had objections to administration of the estate of his late brother Joseph Ludden mariner, late of Boston, 13 Dec. 1706 (Suffolk Probate, New Series, 6: 244), and Samuel Andrews of Milton, housewrigbt, and Elizabeth, his wife, as principals, with Clement Cook of Braintree, tailor, and James Webster of Boston, housewright, as sureties, gave bond in S200 for Samuel Andrews and Elizabeth, his wife, to administer upon the estate of Joseph Ludden, late Of Boston, Suffolk, Mariner, deceased, formerly husband of said Elizabeth Andrews, 23 Dec. 1706. (Ibid. 6: 245.)
No children appear on either Weymouth or Boston records.
