They were divorced, on Mar. 2, 1819 account of her extreme youth, but apparently married again and had several children. Thomas French Jr. of Canton was appointed her guardian after the divorce or annulment.

He was elected surveyor of highways 1728, constable 1736 but refused it, on a committee of the So. Precinct 1730, surveyor of highways 1733. In 1715 his father gave him half of his homestead of 125 acres & 1/4 part of his saw mill. He was a partner in the Land Bank scheme of 1740.
