Her gravestone says 170 offspring, but the Thayer Memorial says 132, 66 male and 66 female.

In 1818 he removed to Braintree where he purchased a house on Middle St. south of Union St., west side. This house still standing, was built in 1804 by John Hollis, a large house, said to be the first in town when built. He was a shoemaker in 1850.
