Resided on Pond St. So. Braintree, east of Town St. where in 1707 he and his brother Thomas bought the Alby or Water Farm of Samuel Sewall, 28 acres.

Ephraim Jones Jr. was elected hogreave 1742, surveyor of highways 1746, constable 1759 & 1761 but refused to serve both years.
Lived on Pond St. north side east of the outlet of Little Pond.
S.P.78-56, Apr.23,1779 - Division of estate of Ephraim Jones, except dower not capable of division & Mary Dyer wife of Ichabod & Hannah Jones want it settled on them and the guardian of the elder branches approves. To legal Representatives of Moses eldest son £127/10/ & legal representatives of Ephraim £63/15/, to Elizabeth Jones £63/15/ all paid by Mary & Hannah.
83-806, Sep.7,1784 - Ephraim Jones, widows thirds settled on his grandson Moses, eldest son of Moses, mentions son Moses deceased, son Ephraim deceased, daus. Mary Dyer, Hannah Jones & Betsey Ludden.

Isaac Jones of Weymouth, yeoman, being weak in body, made will 24 May, 1782, mentioning his wife Mary, his eldest son Isaac his son Elisha, and his son John. Witnesses: James Humphrey Robert Pratt and Asa French; proved 10 June, 1783. (S Probate Records, 82: 395.) His son Elisha to have two-thirds his estate and to be executor.
