Resided on east side of Middle St. south of his father. He was elected hogreave 1735/6. The house was torn down about 1834 when a new one was built about 20 feet south of it in that year by his grandson Elisha Hollis, now standing (1955), & occupied about 1890 by Benjamin Hawes

died Nov.1746 -(Town Rec., p.736), buried Sep.15,1747 (Ch.Rec.) "disabled in his limbs".

Resided on his father's estate, Middle St., Braintree, later on west side south of Union St. where he bought of William Richards about 1717. The old house was torn down about 1815 and about 1804 a new one a little north of it was built, now (1955) standing.

He is first mentioned in 1698 in a list of men who protested their rights in the land in dispute with Boston.

His house in Braintree is mentioned May 7,1695 (S.D. 17-276) "on a cartway by his house".
