He removed to Braintree about 1730, resided on "Moore's Farm" on Granite St. near Pond St.
He was elected constable 1736 but refused, fenceviewer 1742, probably he was overseer of the poor 1774 and assizor of bread 1772. Had a mill on Moore's Farm River (Monatiquot) remains of which can still be seen (1950) at Granite St.
She left a will, but no settlement of his estate is recorded.

Elisha Holbrook was baptized at Randolph Oct.27,1799 and his children baptized there Nov.3,1799, Elisha Apr.26,1801, Caleb Strong Apr.29,1804. He inherited his father's homestead at Braintree Highlands, but resided in 1806 at the corner of Washington & Division Sts. east side, the last house in town at Holbrook line in a house still standing but moved later northward, and now standing. He was a farmer in 1850.

He was chosen deacon of the Braintree Church Feb.8,1761. Resided in Braintree Highlands. He was elected surveyor of highways 1745,1746-,1749, fenceviewer 1753, surveyor 1755, constable 1760. No settlement of his estate is on record
