He is called Nathaniel Hubbard of Boston at marriage. Removed to South Parish, now Brookville, in Holbrook from No. Bridgewater where they went about 1780 from Dorchester. This family wrote the name Hubbard usually, but later generations used Hobert. He was a farmer & gardener says Dr. Alden in S.E. corner of town.
