Jacob Gonser was the first cousin of George Conser Jr. and nephew of George Conser Sr. Joh n lived first in the Tusseyvillle area and some of his children are baptised at the Emanuel s Church in Tusseyvile between 1800 and 1810. John's first cousin, George Conser Jr. woul d later follow his 1st cousins, John and Jacob, to the Tusseyville-Potters Mill area of Centr e County in the mid 1820s. p. 59-63 Court of Common Pleas, April Term 1838 (excerpts)

Date 30 April 1838 - Last Will of John Gonsar, deceased of county of Coshocton.
First. It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.
Second. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Polly Gonsar in lieu of her dower, th e following lots in the Town of New Bedford. Viz Lots Nor. 34 and 33, whereon the messuage st ands, and lots No. 32, 49, 50, 51 and 52, also two beds, one cow, one Bible, one bureau, on e clock, one stove and household and kitchen furniture as much as necessary during her natura l life.
Third. It is my will, that the farm I now own, situate and being in the County of Coshocton , State of Ohio, containing about 100 acres, together with all the live stock, horses, cattle , sheep, hogs, etc. by me now owned and kept thereon together with the household and kitche n furniture not otherwise disposed of in this will, be sold immediately after my decease, o r as soon as convenient there after at as fair and reasonable price and the proceeds of suc h sale when made, after paying the funeral expenses and just debts, to be equally divided sha re for share among my children and my beloved wife Polly Gonsar, to receive one third of sai d proceeds, as they are received, before they are divided among my said children as aforesaid .
Fourth. It is my will that the lots and property as above willed to my beloved wife Polly Gon sar, or as much as may remain thereof, shall be sold as soon as convenient at a fair and reas onable sale after the decease of my said beloved wife Polly Gonser and the net proceeds of su ch sale _?__ made after paying the expenses of the funeral and just debts of my said wife Pol ly Gonser, to be disposed of as follows, to wit; viz first the three surviving children of m y eldest son John Gonser who is deceased, to receive so much first out of said monies as my s aid son would have been entitled to if living, receiving an equal share of my whole estate, a nd what there remains of said sale to be equally divided share for share among my other child ren.
And lastely, I hereby constitute and appoint my sons Henry Gonsar and Adam Gonser, to be exec utors for this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me mad e etc.
In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of January 1838.
