Lived on Washington St., east side about opposite Vernon Ave. in the house built 1777 by Zebah Hayden and for over 50 years after 1890 occupied by John B. Eaton.

He lived on Commercial St., E. Braintree just east of the Jonas Perkins Schoolhouse where in 1756 his grandfather Samuel White gave him a house and 6 acres of land, afterwards occupied by Joseph Allen.
Samuel French 3rd was elected hogreave 1760, surveyor of highways 1761. He was a soldier in 1757 (Reg. Vol.15).
